Just returned from 5 nites at this resort. Just loved it. The rooms were lovely and layed out well. We had a 2 b/r and it was perfect. The location is
fabulous. Sat on our balcony at night and watched the Epcot fireworks. The pool was great and warm. My kids loved the lazy river.
There was no disney magic missing here. The only other home away from home we stayed at on site was OKW and Bonnet Creek compares favorably. Did not use their bus service but seemed pretty frequent.

I highly recommend this resort.

Are you a owner, if not how did you make your reservation for this villa? Would definetely love to stay here on our next trip.

MOMTOMOOTOO: I have heard Bonnet Creek is beautiful and I dont see it show up on RCI very often...how DID you get it?

Also I have to comment on your adorable beagle, from another beagle owner!

I rented this unit directly from an owner. It was really very nice. If you see it come up, grab it!!

As far as my boy "Ricky". we all loved him so much, and we are still grieving his passing  Someday soon we will be getting another beagle and I can't wait. Give your pooch a big ole hug from me :goodvibes

We rented it from an owner thru an ad on TUG. If you can rent it, do! you will not be sorry.

We stayed at CBR this year, and were curious about Bonnett Creek. Is it a DVC resort, or another non-Disney timeshare, or what? I've never seen anything about it, thanks for the info!

OH I'm so sorry about Ricky! We have a Wendy and she is 13 now so I am afraid she wont be with us much longer..they sure are very unique dogs and not easily replaced!

It's part of a parcel of land that Disney wasn't able to purchase from the owners - guess Fairfield Developments upped the $$$ enough to buy it. Very nice timeshare units - it's a hot property in the Fairfield group.

So no, it's not in any way affiliated with WDW, ie, no WDW buses, parcel pickup, EMH perks, etc, but it's a lovely resort, we wouldn't hesitate to stay there if the opportunity arose:)

:sunny:

We unofficially "toured" the resort last year. We have always booked Atlantis Limo as our ground transportation, and over the years, have gotten to know the owner/operator Scoobey quite well.

Anyway, Atlantis won the contract to be the transportation provider for Bonnett Creek, doing all their airport transfers and shuttles to the parks.

MOMTOMOOTOO, is the entire resort open now? It looked like they were working on about 5 buildings last year. Is there a golf course too?

we just rec'd a promo to tour Bonnett Creek-but the accomadations are for a different hotel.
I am curious about this resort.
When did it open?

Oh I hate when they want you to tour the timeshare but have you stay somewhere else! You should at least be able to stay where they are trying to sell

Fairfield always makes their offer with offsite accommodations; however, if you call and ask you can sometimes talk them into staying at a resort. Don't expect it to be Bonnet Creek though (FF has 3 other resorts in area).

The offer was for 4-we have 3 children, so that doesn't work. I know they can accomadate if you ask. The hotel options are for "Sheraton World, Wyndham Orlando or a comparable area hotel". It's the "comparable area hotel" that concerns me!

Hey Deb, The resort is still under construction but all the facilites (pool, game room, workout room, grille etc) were completed. To be honest I didn't see any golf, but then again my DH would have noticed if there were ;)

I'm going to be staying at Bonnet Creek in June for my honeymoon - I'm so excited to hear such a favorable review! We are still trying to decide whether we should rent a car or if we should rely on the busses and taxis. I just wish I knew how often the busses will be going!

ps - I'm a future beagle owner!
