After going back and forth a million (okay, a million in one times), I think that I am going to bite the bullet and stay off property this trip. We have before so I know what to expect. While I LOVE staying at a Disney Property, I think that am going to love my sanity more with the extra room/3 kids/ better price.

With that said, I have decided (thanks to a lot of you) to stay at Wyndaham Bonnet Creek. I have gotten 2 prices from both of the names of people that I have seen used on here by others. Does anyone have opinions either way? I will say that one price does seem to be cheaper by about $200.

Any thoughts and opinions welcome!!!

Thanks!

You haven't stated who you went with. I have heard wonderful things about Ken and I used Laura Gohl at Sun and Snow. My trip was from 5/7-5/14 at BC and Laura was able to get us a much better rate. Granted, we travelled in May, when prices are generally less than in the summer, but we got our rate at about $89/night for a 2 bedroom condo.

My DH was beside himself with happiness over the rate, particularly when you see all of the amenities. If you got your rate from Laura, she was incredibly professional, and send me a reminder e-mail about some details that (frankly) I would have forgotten before my trip. I really appreciated her reminder e-mail just before we left.

I have never used Ken, but his rates for the same time was about $200 more as well, but I hear people rave about him. No matter who you go with, I think you will be happy.

(And I am a crazy, on-site Disney person as well. I totally relate.:lovestruc)

I actually have not went with anyone yet, lol. I am still comparing prices. I am all about getting a better deal, but also want to choose someone that has good feedback.

I was in the same boat as you a few months ago, drove myself crazy trying to make a decision wheather to stay at our beloved Poly or give Bonnet Creek a try. Once getting through that decision, the next step was trying to find the best deal for exactly what I wanted. I ended up going with Farrell Vacations, from the 3 quotes I received, his was the best. Except for with Ken there was a possibility of rebooking at 60 days and then his price would have been $260 lower than Farrels, but I didn't want to chance it. Here are the quotes we received for 9 nights in a 2 BR pres 3rd week of Aug.

Ken - $2430 with poss rebooking to $1440
5star - $1895 no rebooking
Farrell - $1700 no rebooking

I am really happy with the price we got, I know others have been able to get really good deals on ebay, but as a first time renter I was a little nervous about that. Good luck!

If you no anyone that is in the military or works for the dept of defense then you can go to armed forces vacation club. your fried or family member can gift you a stay at many resorts like bonnet creek. They do not have to go with you and the stay is $369.00 a week that is $53 a nite there is tax on this of course. and i am going to disnet and checked the site today and they are haveing a blow out sale for only $299 a week. hope this helps and you have family or friends that fit this:dance3:

Hi

I booked with 5starresort.net my stay isn't until October but I found her price to be the cheapest and she was friendly to delay with and always responded to my emails fast.
