I'm planning a trip with my two girls, aunt, mother and possibly 2 more family members. Since we are such a large group I am leaning toward staying offsite at Bonnet Creek, mainly because my mother and aunt can't really do the parks much. There seems to be a lot more to do there than at a Disney deluxe. Here's where my transportation question comes in. If say, the two of them want to stay at the resort and decide to go to Downtown Disney while everyone else is in the park, is the shuttle reliable and easy for two older women that have a hard time navigating where to go? I'm still not sure if I'm going to rent a van for the 7 us and it's is pretty much a moot point anyway since they definitely will not drive on unfamiliar roads. Would a cab be a better option? I think the only thing holding me back from booking Bonnet Creek is the transportation aspect for us since I would be the only one old enough, and willing to drive a rental.
Ugh!
