Wyndham resorts (like Wyndham Bonnet Creek) supply: liquid dish soap w/scrubber and dishcloth, dishwasher powder, paper towel roll, coffee filters, toilet paper w/extra, facial tissues, bath/sink soap bars, plastic trash bags and built-in hairdryers in the bathrooms. Extra towels for the pool are either in the room (larger, in a different color) or available in a recreation area or pool area.
In addition, they'll supply
one starter packet of each: coffee, decaf, sugar/creamer, laundry detergent, shampoo, lotion, mouthwash.
When we stay for more than a few days (like a week),
we usually bring: a little extra laundry detergent in a ziploc, a few softener sheets for the dryer, more toiletries, ziplocs, foil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, favorite coffee, favorite music CDs (the player is in the living room).
Should I take stuff to clean with like a multipurpose surface cleaner to clean here and there?
I don't bother - we use a soapy dishcloth where needed and rinse. In the utility closet, there's also a vacuum, a broom, an iron and board. But I guess it depends on how particular you are throughout your stay since they generally don't provide for daily housekeeping service. The place should be VERY clean on your arrival.
If you want to use the inroom jacuzzi tub, some recommend that it should be cleaned by adding at least a cup of bleach to a filled tub, run the jets and let the bleach water soak for 30 minutes before draining the tub. (Some folks use a dishwasher soap powder packet instead.) Then the tub is ready to use throughout your stay. The water jet pipes are hard to clean otherwise and some resorts may use this method where others only clean the visible surfaces, like the rest of the room cleaning. If you're in a brand new building, no need to bother though. And honestly, most people don't even give this a thought - it's up to you.
Have a wonderful vacation at Wyn Bonnet Creek!!!
