Bonnet Creek questions!

Hello,

My family and I are thinking of staying at Bonnet Creek. I saw on the website it says you can pay extra for maid service. Does anyone know how much extra you have to pay for the service?

Do the rooms come with towels, soap, etc or do you have to bring your own?

Also, for anyone that has stayed there do you recommend using the shuttle service or driving to the parks?

Bonnet Creek is like staying in your best friends apartment. You will find plenty of towels, dishes, soap for dishwasher, a washing machine with soap and a dryer, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. It is not a hotel - no daily maid service.

The shuttle to the park is great if you don't drive. We like to leave the park in the afternoon and take a break to swim and rest. Then return to the parks in the evening. That arrangement is much better to have your own car. That way you are not waiting on a shuttle but can go when you are ready. Disney parking is $15.00. 3 folks on the shuttle is $15.00.

The shuttle fee is per roundtrip....so if you leave in the afternoon and want to return later that evening you will have to pay again. In this case a car is the better way to go as you only pay parking per day. As long as you have your receipt you can go in and out as many times as you want, you can also park hop.



I don't know the fee for maid service but I've heard that it's around $75. You do not get 'plenty' of supplies in the suite. If the unit sleeps 8 you will get 8 towels, 8 plates, etc. You will get 2-3 packets of dishwasher soap and laundry detergent but no fabric softener. Basically, the supplies are a start. If you plan on cooking or doing laundry you will need to bring your own supplies as what they give you will not last a week. They do provide 7 coffee filters....that was the only thing that was a 1 week supply. The toiletries are the standard tiny hotels sizes....you will need your own. The toilet paper is the worst 1 ply ever...we went out first thing and bought some better stuff.
