My parents just purchased a timeshare at Bonnet Creek. (Despite my persistence on DVC!) Since it is within Disney World (although I hear it's technically not Disney property), are there any benefits offered to those who stay there, specifically transportation to the parks and EMH's? And what else can you tell me about this place? Thanks for any info! :wizard:

I think you'll really like this place. You're right that it is not on Disney property...but it practically is. It is next door to the Caribbean Beach Resort.

The place is brand new and there is still a lot of construction going on. The units themselves are wonderful. We stayed in a 2 bedroom in February and were very pleased. It was a split floor plan...bedroom and bathroom on either side with the living area, dining area and kitchen in the middle. It looks just like the pictures on the website. They have two nice pool areas...one with a lazy river (which we just love), hot tubs, zero entry, splash fountain, etc. The usual stuff for Orlando resorts.

I know that you call to be picked up and dropped off at the parks. People we talked to said it worked very well for them and that they did not have to wait at all. If they wanted to leave the MK at like 4:30, the shuttle was there waiting. We had a car...which we just prefer anyway.

I know it isn't a DVC resort, but IMO I really think the grounds are just as nice and the units are even nicer than some of the Disney resorts. I think they will be very happy there.

I don't think you get EMH there, but we did get to watch the Epcot fireworks from our room every night which was fun.
Hope this helps.

It is completely unaffiliated with Disney, so zero on-site perks (EMH, ME, DDP, Resort Shipping, Resort Charging, etc.) It is landlocked by Disney on three sides and I-4 on the fourth; the land it is on is not Disney-owned, but it can only be accessed from within the WDW gates.
