Bonnet Creek or Port Orleans Riverside?

How is shuttle service from Bonnet Creek? I have heard mixed reviews - it can be reliable, but it can be unreliable too. Is it scheduled?

I have never used the shuttle, so I can't comment on reliability. Yes, there is a shuttle schedule, which you will get at check-in, but the frequency of the shuttle may change according to the travel season (prime, high, low, etc.).

I don't mind paying the parking. Do you have to pay to park at the water parks?

No, parking at the water parks was FREE when I went in August 2008. Of course, that could be different in 2009.

My plan is doing the 10 day magic your way water park tickets with no expiration is that we could use it over the next five years or so - doing two water parks (hubby loves them) and two theme parks each visit. Plus have downtime to just relax in Orlando (we usually stay seven nights). I think that will be better than an annual pass since that expires after a year.

That's what we did. On our 10-day, waterpark no-expiration ticket which we purchased in 2008, we have 5 days left at the parks and 8 more visits at the waterparks & Disneyquest. In 2010, we will use a few more days on the tickets and get a 1-week unlimited pass at Universal Studios.

We were just there in August of 2009 and the waterparks do not charge for parking. We stayed at Bonnet Creek and if you love water parks it is very close to Typoon Lagoon. My family, consisting of 3 teens, love the waterparks. We purchased a 6 day water park option ticket and didn't make it a no expiration ticket. We had 2 days of parks and 3 days of water parks or Disney Quest left. We were able to change it to a no expiration ticket for about 85.00 per ticket. Well worth it for one more trip down. Have fun and enjoy Bonnet Creek. My kids (oops, teenagers) loved it.

Thanks for all the feedback. WBC it is! 10 day water park and more no-expiration it is! I priced it out on Undercover Tourist, and with their discount, it ends up costing the same for a 2 br. at Bonnet Creek with tickets as we would pay for one room at Alligator Bayou at Port Orleans with tickets using the 7 for 4 deal. The 2 br. has a washer and dryer, and I figured while I'd have to pay for parking if we skipped on the shuttle, I wouldn't have to pay to do the wash, so it would cancel out. With 3 kids and not liking to pack to heavily, this is our best option. We are thinking of buying in DVC since we do prefer to stay onsite, but for this year, since we could get this great deal at WBC, we will just do that. Hate to wish away the rest of the school year, but can't wait for May!
