We are currently staying at Bonnet Creek. This is not our 1st stay but it is our first stay in Tower 5. We are in room 1180 and all I can say is WOW!!! The view is awesome. Nothing like watching fireworks with tired kids from your own private balcony. The room has been refurb and is in great shape. The pools are not crowded but it is chilly. We did Universal the last two days, its been years since we've been there. We have a 4 year old who fell in love Dr. Suess area and did not want to leave. The Xmas decorations are the best and we had no wait longer than 10 minutes for anything. Most rides were walk ons. The Grinch and Shrek have become our favorite characters at any park. The Scooby Gang were great as well. I'm glad we decided to venture from the disney bubble and will definitely be back. I'll try to post a picture of our view.

Glad you're having fun! We love both Bonnet Creek and Universal. Looking forward to taking our grandbaby in the Spring.

I am glad you are enjoying it. We are getting there this Sunday for our first stay. We couldn't beat the deal we got. It was cheaper than putting our daughter in 2 weeks of camp. Can't wait for our 7 night stay. Maybe we will bump into each other.

As for US, my duaghter loved it too. We had to drag her out of Seuss Land by promising we would go back. We will not be doing US this trip. This is strictly Disney and enjoying their decorations.

We leave sat. Morning. Paid 323.00 for our stay, which included a Friday night with ebay. Unbelievable price. Ask for our room number, the view is priceless.

I am not sure if we can request a room or building. My understanding is that we cannot. We received a 7 night stay through a person we have used from eBay for $500.

You cannot request in advance, but you can request when you're checking in.

We are heading there NOW!! Almost to Daytona, so probably 90 minutes away! This is our first time and I've been showing my kids pix and we are all SOOOOO excited. We have passes to Universal, so wewillbe doing that too, but plan on going to some WDW resorts to eat and see the holiday decorations.

BTW my kids - 2 boys ages 7 and 10 -love to play with other kids so if anyone staying this week wants to do a "play date" - meet up a a pool, etc, post or PM me!

Great, now I need to start researching buildings and room numbers. I would like to be high up to see fireworks, but my mom fears heights and will literally pass out if she looks out to the balcony. We will watch the fireworks at the parks.

Since I will be stuck looking at the 1st or 2nd floor (3rd will be pushing it), which building should I request to be closer to everything?

Because WBC is set up in a circle all of the buildings are really close to all the different pools. All the recreation - pools, playgrounds, etc. are in the inner circle with the parking the outer circle. The center of the circle is a large pond that does have a walking path around it.We prefer building 4 or 5 because there is a parking garage between the 2 buildings. I like my car to be out of the FL sun. So I chose to walk a little further for that convenience rather than trying to park by the entrance door.

Thanks for the report. We'll be there Dec. 30-2. What fireworks do you see from the resort? I'm thinking it must be EPCOT because of location.

Yes, it is the Epcot fireworks. We were in building 3, I believe on the 4th floor and had a perfect view of the upper fireworks. The lower ones will not be visible from anywhere but Epcot.

It's been a couple of years since our stay but we could see MK and Epcot fireworks.

We requested a parking lot view, the highest floor possible, in Tower 4 or 5 when we went last September. We ended up on the 14th floor of Tower 4 and had a great view of Epcot and MK fireworks every night.

They took room requests for us as well. Unfortunately, we could not be too high because of deathly fear of heights for my mom. 6th floor was where we were and it was about as high as we could go.

Room 674: We were able to see the higher Epcot fireworks right over the tree line. The first night, I thought a bomb went off. The time difference between the light and sound made it so. Definitely a great tower. If you can get higher, the better the view.

Would love to see some pictures! We will be there first week in Feb and really want to see fireworks from our suite!

I can only speak from Tower 4. The higher the better IMO. If you get an even number room, you will face the parking lot. This will let you see the Epcot fireworks easily. I am not sure which building has a view of MK, but I would assume Tower 4 does depending on the room and floor.

Wow sounds like everyone is having great luck with rates for Bonnet Creek. we have stayed during spring break and are now looking to return next year for the xmas holidays. can someone also PM me ebay sellers they have used in the past :worship:

Thank you
