I've been having a hard time finding a three bedroom for an October trip but Ken Price has a presidential available. I also found a deluxe one I think on vrbo but it makes me a little more leery. Price difference of almost $500 total for the six nights. Which would you book? Presidentials are never on the ground floor right? I like that perk... Any downside other than cost? It's my husband and four kids.

Also random do they have pack n plays available at bonnet creek or should I bring mine from home?

Thanks for any thoughts!

The 3 bedroom presidential will be located in building 6 on an upper floor. You will have covered parking available in the building between #6 & the hotel. Access to the parking garage is all inside - a nice perk during summer showers.
$500 is a lot of money on my budget but I have used Ken Price 3 times and I know he is reliable. Peace of mind about an upcoming trip accommodations is nice to have but is it worth $500 - only you can make that call.

Bonnet Creek also has high chairs available too. No cost for high chair or pack n play

Thanks! Yes I think peace of mind is definitely worth something! And I did not know about the covered parking.

Presidential suites command a higher rate and some people simply do not travel unless their accommodations are the best. Because there is a limited number of Presidential suites, megarenters and other owners book these up quickly at WBC. They usually find people willing to pay higher dollar for the rooms. Some simply book them to cancel/rebook for 50% of the points, then rent them at a premium still. If they can't rent them at a premium, they will rent them for the going rate of $7/pt knowing most people don't realize they only used half the points to book it. Finally, if they can't find people to rent them, they offload them to Wyndham inventory before the 15-day cancellation window. Usually, owners that know someone that wants a room will find a renter first, book the room, and give it off for $100 or less per night. This is especially true in the Value seasons. If I knew in Dec 14 what I know now, I could have gotten a 4BR Pres for about $600 for a week.

As for the difference between Pres and Dlx, Dlx is equivalent to DVC (maybe not Poly/GF). Pres is better than all DVC and probably on par with Poly/GF. The Pres rooms are slightly larger and they have upgraded aesthetics. Everything else is pretty much the same: mattress, pillows, towels, dishes, cookware, etc. If I could get a Pres for an extra $20-$25 per night, I would do it. Other than that, a Dlx is more than luxury enough for us.

I would say even the Deluxe is better than DVC. They're just roomier. The big difference IMO is the Pres has full size washer and dryer. The furnishings are usually nicer but for us it's not worth it. The only thing that would persuade us to pay more is the washer/dryer. Only you will know if $500 is worth it for you.
