Can someone please tell me the ingredients in Bonine? We cannot get Bonine in Canada. Recently I noticed that Bonamine is being sold here but does not say non-drowsy. I want to compare the ingredients in Bonine to Bonamine to see if they are similar. I have used Bonine in the past with great success. I have run out and was looking for something to take for our trip (we fly to WDW in 10 days). Thanks in advance. If anyone has any other suggestions for warding off motion sickness they would be greatly appreciated.

ok.. on my box of chewable Bonine tablets, it says:

Active ingredient - Meclizine HCI 25 mg

Inactive ingredients - FD&C red no. 40, lactose, magnesium stearate, purified siliceous earth, rasberry flavor, saccharin sodium, starch, and talc

Hope that helps you!

Someone said it was available as Meclizine HCI 25 mg at Walgreens in a large bottle. I do not think this is the case in most states because I have checked Maine, Nh, and Mass and all they have is the 8 pk for amost 5.oo. I will buy that but I would much prefer the larger package (bottle) with 50 or more since I will be there for 14 days and will need to use it all the time. Any help as to where I can get the generic Bonine?

Thanks, the active ingredients for Bonine and Bonamine are exactly the same. Bonamine does not say non-drowsy, in fact there is a warning that it may cause drowsiness. It is one tablet every 24 hours the same as Bonine. I will give it a try before we leave to see what the side effects will be. Just realized that I should be doing the single digit dance, 9 days to WDW.

I have gotten Meclizine in a large bottle at the Walmart Pharmacy. It's not out on the shelf, you have to ask the Pharmacist for it. I pay around $2 for 20 tabs.
