I'm very prone to motion-sickness and the bonine works great for me (as long as I remember to take it
).
For me I've found that starting it the morning of the cruise works fine and if there is alot of motion later on the ship I'll take another one (about 12 hours after that morning's dose). I've even had a drink (sailaway drink) while on it and was not even drowsy
Not recommending drinking while on it, just that for me one drink doesn't make me drowsy with bonine. Pretty sure there wasn't much alcohol in my version anyway
I've also tried ginger capsules after the StarTours at MGM and they worked greated
However I have heard that ginger capsules will interact with some medicines -so check with your MD before using them.
I would recommend trying your chosen remedy at home to see how you react to it
Never been seasick on the Wonder or Magic-it seems to be the smaller boats that do me in...and planes, and cars, and rides
