We want to try Bongos for lunch if they serve lunch. Is this restraunt appropriate for kids too? Our kids are 11 and 14 years old.

Not only appropriate but perfect for tweens
Try the Cubano sandwiches~however.......
while the food isn't particularly spicy (heat) Cubano cuisine does use some spices that are not necessarily familiar to the American palate

Think traditional Mexican foods with a bit of African and Asian tossed into the mix.

If your 2 are cool with Cafe Tangierine then they'll be fine~and it does have that sort of Miami vibe going on

Yes, we really like it there. I recommend the ropa viejo.

By all means, Bongos is a very good dining pick, with kids. Been there many times for dinner and lunch. Its "kid friendly"

We love Bongos. And when I say we, I mean all of us. My kids love their food. I would recommend the vaca frita de pollo. It's shredded chicken and it simply delicious. Definitely give it a try...
