We thought we'd like to try Bongos for dinner and then maybe hang out for a little while afterwards, do you still have to pay the $19.99 to get in. Is there a time I need to make the PS for before you're charged?

$40 to get in plus $30 for the Cub's Den just isn't worth it to us when we don't plan on club hopping or staying out past 9:30 or 10:00.

Maybe we'd enjoy the Boardwalk, ESPN, Beaches & Cream...I read you can see Illuminations from the bridge over there?

I'd love any suggestions or any comments...what's good at Bongo's, etc?

(We're staying at the WL, but dh didn't see anything he liked on the menu at AP and I'd like to do something more special than having nachos at Territory Lounge, LOL!)

Thanks!!!!

We love Bongos, but they do not take reservations, at least they weren't the last time we went. It's first come, first served, but the place is very large and we've always been seated right away. If you don't have Plus Passes that include the price of PI go early. I understand they are trying a new policy about the entrance fee, but since we have plus passes I haven't been paying much attention. Anyway we find Bongos to be great fun with very good food. If you're a drinker, try a Mojito. We had our first one last year and found them very tastey with Cuban food.

Bongos is on the Westside of DTD and there was never an admission fee for that area. There are shops and other areas to browse there without ever going to PI. PI was still free when i went in the begining of August. When i asked a CM if this was going to continue he said yes because it had been very successful, but with Disney you never know.

Oh my goodness! I just looked up a Mojito and it sounds like something I'd love...another reason to go there...we wouldn't have to drive, so dh could try a Cuban beer, I could try one of these and then I know I can convince dh to do some shopping since I just noticed that they have a guitar store there! Sounds too perfect! Thanks so much for the info!
