I have the Bon Voyage breakfast on two different days of my trip and I can't figure out which one will work best. One is early in the morning on a day I planned for the pool and to relax. The other day I'll be going to animal kingdom but the reservation is at 10:30 and I have the safari fast pass from 11:10-12:10. Would I be able to make that fast pass? How long does the breakfast take? We'll be staying at the hotel it's located at so getting there won't be a problem.

Do it on your pool day, for sure!

It's too much of a rush on your AK day. The character meal is going to take at least an hour, assuming you get seated on time, and possibly longer. Then you have to go to the bus stop and wait. You might get lucky and get a bus right away, or you might have a lengthy wait.

I agree. Do it on your pool day. Even though you have an ADR for 10:30 you may not be seated at 10:30. You definitely don't want to be rushing through your meal.

If you're staying at Boardwalk, definitely do your pool day. Have breakfast, then get changed and hit the pool.

Another vote for doing it on your pool day. If it was 8:30-9:30 time on the AK day that would work. But with 10:30 by the time you get done and get a bus you could be cutting it close.

Please cancel one if they're in September. LOL!

So far, the only one I can find is at 7:30, and that is awfully early for my crew.

It seems like pool day is the only day lol. I really hate I have to wake up early on my only rest day.

@JerseyJanice sorry my reservation is for May. Keep checking closer to your date someone might drop it.

So I think I might just drop this all together. The food just doesn't look that appealing to me and since it'll only work on a day I wanted to sleep in I think its just not worth it. I got one for when I go back in August so might just try it then. I'm probably going to hang on to it a little longer in case I change my mind again for the millionth time. Does anyone need a reservation for 2 on Wednesday May 24th at 10am?

There's no way you'd be able to make the fastpass with a 10:30 ADR. Honestly, neither of those days/times sound very convenient. Any chance you're staying at one of the Epcot/Boardwalk resorts? If not, it's going to be a lot of transportation either way. I guess if you had to do one or the other, I'd choose the earlier one on a non-park day, but I'd be pretty bummed about not getting to sleep in.

I would do the pool day. There is no way you can make it to AK in time with a 10:30 breakfast at boardwalk.

I'm trying to adjust my October reservation. I have an early one for our check out day but would rather do it before our Epcot morning.

I envy the ability to sleep in where a 10:30 ressie is "too early". Been working the same hours so long where I get up at 4:45 that even when I am at Disney, I wake up then and quietly excuse myself from the room and go out and walk around. And, I wake up at that time even if I am out till 2. Sleep....oh to be young again and be able to do it! Argghhhh pirate:

Pool day, for sure. We never do breakfast ADRs on park days.

When I was in college I could sleep in until 2pm easily lol. I'll be there for my 28th birthday so I don't know how young you'd consider that. I don't think I could ever wake up as early as you lol. I just need to make sure my boyfriend lets me sleep in, unfortunately I'm a light sleeper.

My twins (flanking me in that avatar, yes I am the one that is not 6"5" or 6'3") could sleep till supper time. I will tell you though, some of my most reflective moments in my whole life were sitting on the boardwalk before the sun came up, or walking between the WL and FW early in the morning and seeing the wildlife (no, not the drunks heading back pirate:). I have lived my whole life on between 3 and 6 hours sleep a night. Like everything else, there are goods and bads.

While on the subject, we are staying at the Beach Club and have reservations for Bon Voyage at 10. Our first fp at 11:00 - 12:00 but that is not a must do. The important one is the 12:05 - 1:05 Soarin, but that should be plenty of time, do you think?

I think the standard for Character dining is around 90 minutes so I think you should be good for both of your fast passes, especially since its walking distance so you don't have to rely on transportation. You could try changing your first one to 11:05-12:05, but I don't think that'll make much of a difference lol.
