Bon Voyage or Cape May Cafe

We have recently switched our hotel from AKL to BCV and I’ve decided to add on a character breakfast. Which do you prefer or would it be worth doing both? We already have 5 character meals planned that week but my daughter loves them and this will probably be our only time staying at an Epcot area resort.

We love Bon Voyage and think the interactions are super. Very fun, very good breakfast food.

I would do both —Bon Voyage for the characters and Cape May for the food, because I find the a la carte options at bon voyage a bit limiting but we have boys so like them to meet the men in the disney stories, and we love tangled. But you will be right there at beach club so sounds like a oerfect option for departure day breakfast

I agree with this. I've always loved the breakfast food and characters at Cape May.

I've eaten at both and I prefer Cape May. The food is way better. I also like the character interaction at Cape May better as well. The characters circled 2-3 times at Cape May when we were there where as Bon Voyage was only one time.

Not to worry you, but just to give you a warning- when we were at Bon Voyage on July 4, Flynn was absent that day. I know it can happen at any character meal with any character, it just seems that I read more reports of Flynn being absent than any other character at meals (probably partially because he has a lot of hype surrounding him so it’s more likely to be commented on, but I also think there might be fewer ‘friends’ of Flynn on hand to fill in). It was a big bummer!

Thanks for the warning. I know it can happen and it would be a major bummer, but she is usually pretty easy going while at Disney. She did say she wanted to meet him there because you can’t meet him anywhere else. It don’t think would ruin the whole thing though. Eric is my favourite prince anyway! Lol
