Hello! How long is the Bon Voyage Breakfast typically? My kids have food allergies, so it'll take a bit longer than usual. We have a reservation for 7:30, hoping to walk to HS for as close to 9am as possible. Thanks!

Ours took some time, but we were at the end, it was like a 10:05 res or something and we didn't make it to HS until after noon....we had one like you, and then we realized that we would want to take advantage of the lower crowds and moved it to almost the latest as possible to get the benefit of the low crowds without having to run to HS after breakfast....

Breakfast goes way past 10. I have an 11:45 breakfast reservation in October.

We ate there in December and had a 12:00 reservation for breakfast. Ours went by too fast! We were the last party seated and they quickly ushered the characters to and from our tables. I was a little disappointed with that, but then our server told us to stay as long as we wanted while they transitioned to the non-character rest of the day. He kept our drinks filled, and asked us what our favorite pastries were. He then brought us out a box of all our favorites to take for breakfast the next day.

If you can get in at 7:30, I think you should be fine. Once we had early reservations at Akershus and we didn't get seated until about 40 minutes after our reservation time. >:(

We have a 7:45 breakfast followed by HS so doing the same thing. I will say, though, I imagine HS is going to be ridiculous no matter when we get there due to Toy Story Land, so I don't care if we get there late. Will use our FPs and then leave and go chill at the hotel pool the rest of the day. Assuming you are visiting after the renovations to the friendship boat, just wanted to add that might be just as a fast or faster than walking depending on how fast a walker you are and when the next boat is arriving.

We leave 2 hours for all character meals. Usually it takes more like 90 minutes, sometimes even 60 if we're lucky. Other times there is a substantial wait to be seated or for a character to visit the table. The first time we did the Bon Voyage breakfast we were out in a little over an hour. In April we waited 40 minutes to be seated so it was just over 2 hours by the time we left. It took a long time for our food, and when it arrived, my DD's order was wrong (she chose to eat what they brought her rather than wait some more for the right food to arrive). We both felt like we wanted to eat in a hurry to get out of there rather than enjoy our breakfast. Our first experience there was much better.

it wasn't that much after 10 back in the day, so maybe we were more like 10:30.....we were literally probably one of the last 10 tables in the restaurant when we were done, they just extended it "recently"....

That's so interesting! We've always been seated early for our breakfast reservations, so I really hadn't thought of it taking a long time just to be seated. Lots to think about - thanks so much :)
