Good grief, it's finally come to me what this whole "I never saw or heard anything like that from Rev. Wright" line of bullcrap reminds me of.

Do you remember years ago on SNL, when they had a Black character disguise himself as a White man? When he was Black, he would get on a bus for example, and the White people would just sit there with their heads buried in the newspaper, etc. But if he got on the bus as a White man, the other White people would be having a party.....only to stop and put their heads in the newspaper if a Black person got on the bus. There was a "White World" for Whites that Blacks never got to see or even know about.

Well, clearly Rev. Wright took this skit to heart. And I suppose Obama would like us to believe that since Barack is half White, they must do a reverse version with him at church. They had their REAL Black services on the Sundays he was not there. The "We hate Whitey" sermons. If they saw Barack coming, Wright whipped out the "Kumbaya my lord" sermon.

WHEW! That explains it all.

Ok -- so she is nutty, has disgusting views about illegal aliens and exorcises demons in her home. Would you have her sprinkle the holy water on your kids? If running for a public office, would you have her serve on your spiritual advisory committee? I'm guessing no. Because her beliefs and practices are in opposition with your own. However, if you kinda buy in to some of what she is saying, you might put her on your advisory committee. That is the point that everyone has been making. For Obama to say he didn't know this man was an anti-american, anti-white, racist bigot, is not believable, even for those with a modicum of common sense.

Ok .Sorry to defame Wyoming..Make that Idaho... Frankly, I wasn't aware her views were so out there..They have only become more and more apparent in the last couple of years..Before that, yes.. SHe would have been more involved in our lives..It's like she has become very bitter and anger in the last few years..

ANd yes, you're right..I don't agree with Obama on this AT ALL..I don't...He's wrong. very wrong..
BUt the issue is, I don't agree with McCain either..I don't agree with his politics at all and that is what it will come down to for me, the politics.. Obamas stances are closer to mine than McCain or Clintons..It's a shame though because I really though I could vote FOr someone in the election and not AGAINST someone else..Right now I feel like I may have to do the hold the nose and vote Obama..That might change but I'm very dissapointed in him right now

Except, you aren't seeing the big picture. The Reps aren't going to vote for Obama anyway. But if he gets the nomination, the Hillary supporters will now be faced with a more difficult choice. And believe me, whoever winds up with the nomination is going to have their closets emptied of skeletons....let's pray there is nothing worse buried in Obama's.

I think that it is amazing that people would still consider voting for him, when you know, absolutely and without doubt that he made a conscious decision to attend a BLF-driven church that regularly condemned America, white Americans, Jews, and denigrated members of your own political party (dem) by re-enacting sexual acts from the pulpit.

Hillary would be looking like Joan of Ark to me if I were a Dem.

But, you drink the Kool-Aid because you are so desperate for something different, that you drink it, hoping beyond hope that it will give you a promosed paradise rather than death.

BINGO! Having always voted Democrat, this puts me in a big old pickle. Yes, I know it would be convenient to think all the ones who are so icked out by this are pro-McCain or right wingers, but it just isn't so. And I'm not super enthusiastic about HC either. I would have LOVED to have been able to support Obama, but I cannot. I had reservations before this, but wouldn't have considered myself a backer of anyone. None of the "Big Three" thrill me.

This very thing is one area that had been worrisome to me and now here it is, right in my face. This is a, "Don't pee on me and tell me it's raining" sort of item.

Obama's strong supporters will stay with him. Some fence straddlers will jump off the fence to HC or JMc or not vote at all. Some who weren't even on the fence yet will do the same. I can't vote for someone whose heart and soul has been influenced by this kind of hate and prejudice......and by his own free will, I might add. I am not impressed by what he says. History has shown that words frequently mean nothing and often, the exact opposite of what they say. I see a 20 year history of discipleship to Rev. Wright. That's more than enough to tell me what I need to know.
