Bomb sniffing dogs in NYC

My boss commutes into the city thru Grand Central Station, which is one of our hubs for trains. She told me that there were bomb sniffing dogs all over the place. She said she hasn't seen security like this since September 12, 2001.

FergieTCat, I saw national guardsmen with rifles at the Roosevelt Avenue subway station.

(by the way have you ever worked out at the Austin Street NYSC? I'm thinking of joining but I'm not sure if it's worth the money.)

As for the Austin Street NYSC, I've never been in there. Being a female, and always seeing sweet young things in make-up and spandex enter the building, I just wouldn't feel comfortable there (females over 40, just can't do "sweet young thing"). But, there aren't any other gyms that I know of in the neighborhood (besides Lucille Roberts, which is all girl anyway).
