Boma ?

We have never eaten here before and I just wanted to know if the different foods are labeled. I love to try new dishes but I do want to know what I'm eating.

The last time we were there in 2003, the dishes did have labels, but I don't remember if the they said what was in them. For instance, I know "Fufu" was labeled as such, but don't know if it said it had mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes.

There were labels when I went there in Oct. Like the other poster said they were lableled fufu or whatever, but didn't list the specific ingrediants in each dish.

When we went they items were labeled. If you have questions about anything, just ask one of the many chefs around. They will be more than happy to help you.

Our server asked if we'd been there before & when we said no - she sat down & explained what the different dishes were.

In July of 2005 we ate there (our 1st time there) and the dishes did have labels. I am pretty sure in parentheses under the name was something a very short description think 2-3 words if that). Most of the servers will see the perplexed look on the faces and tell you what is in the dish..if not just ask and they will tell you. It's a buffet so just try a little of everything and then go back for what you like. Most of the food is really good. Unless you like grits steet clear of the Pap (it kind of looks like grits too). Most people love Boma (but as with anything, some do not like it). I can't wait to go back!

In June they were labeled and there were many chefs about who were happy to answer my questions about what the dishes were. I am not an exceptionally adventurous eater, but this was a great meal where I tried many new things. Have fun!
