If you do a search on this board you will find many opinions on Boma. Try it yourself, everyone's taste is different!

All restaurants at WDW are suitable for kids, so no worries there.

I don't think you can see animals from the restaurant, but I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.

I don't think so. But you can walk outside to the viewing areas before or after your meal and spend as much time as you want looking at the animals.

No, you can't see the animals from the restaurant. My DD6 1/2 tried some of the soups, ate two plates of mac n cheese (must of been good), a piece of roasted chicken, one chicken tender, 2 zebra domes, 1 chocolate moose crunch, a tart type thing, and what she described as peach cheesecake. I would say she was either REALLY hungry, or she really liked it. She is somewhat picky, so I would say your 7 year old would be fine.

We're taking our DS4 there in less than 2 weeks. When my DH and I went a couple of years ago, we loved it. It was very casual, not like a food court, but you will definitely feel comfortable taking your DS7 there.

We really enjoyed walking around the hotel lobby, getting drinks in the bar (right above Boma) while we waited for our ADR, walking out the back of the lobby to see the fire pit and animals (there were guides out there who answered questions about the animals).

Hope you'll go and enjoy it as much as we did. Especially if you aren't staying there... it is great to see such a beautiful resort. We hope to have the budget to stay there one day!

got reservations for 5:10 on the 26th of sept.

what time would you leave animal kingdom to get to the hotel look around then go for the 5:10 res? after that we are going to magic kingdom for the night to see spectro magic
