I'm looking for opinions on the Boma breakfast and dinner buffet. Good, bad, or indifferent. Thanks.

We have enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffet many different times, most recently just last month. Both are always wonderful. The food is delicious, the servers are excellent. There is such a wide variety of foods, both in the morning and evening. Also, you are not rushed at all, even though it is a buffet they tell you to take your time and enjoy everything.

Also..a hint for you. You will see most people lining up down by the carved meat station on the far right..bypass that..go get your salads and sides and come back to it..when those other people have figured out you don't have to wait in that line to go through the whole buffet. There are plates all throughout..so grab one and start where it isn't too busy.

We had dinner Saturday night at Boma. It was our third visit and our best so far. We had slow-roasted ribs, prime rib and salmon - fantastic. Lots of interesting choices and everything was very tasty. LOVED the carrot-ginger soup! Of course, we enjoyed zebra domes for dessert!!! :Pinkbounc

I can highly recommend.

We had dinner there and loved it! There is a huge selection of food - so much to offer for vegetarians which was very important to us. The food is S. African cuisine, so much of it is unusual and fun to try. The staff there was so helpful when we asked what things were -- they walked around the buffet with us explaining all of the offerings. So incredibly nice!

I can't wait to eat there again!

We tried Boma for the 1st time in September. We ate breakfast there on an AK morning & we Loved it! There was great variety & the chef making "made-to-order" omelets was great. The juice they serve you is delicious - I wasn't sure I'd like it, but it's great!

We enjoyed it so much that we returned again in January - great again. We now have it on our list of must-do's for our May trip. I'd definitely recommend checking it out. :)

I recently tried Boma for breakfast and was very impressed. I would definitely go back again.

We did both breakfast and dinner there recently and both were really good. That said, I had an easier time justifying the expense for dinner than breakfast. I'd do dinner again even if not staying at AKL.

I can't believe I'm the only one who didn't like Boma's. I love unusual food and I'm not picky at all but I ended up eating chicken fingers and meatballs until I was full. I was also excited to try all of the soups and I only found one that was ok. But I'm sure if that many people enjoyed it you might be one of those! I do have to say that the atmosphere and service was great. Oh and we went for dinner.
