Does Boma serve alot of foods that have peanuts/treenuts? I avoid these as I am breastfeeding a child with a peanut allergy.

Do you think I would be able to enjoy Boma or would we be better off somewhere else?

Thanks,
Erin

That's a great question. I love Boma and I don't recall there being a lot of nuts in the food, but that could be because I'm not terribly aware of such things. I do know, though, that you can call the main switchboard (407-824-2222), ask to be connected with the restaurant, and then speak to someone in the kitchen about your concern. It's been my experience that Disney restaurants as a whole are really, really good about accomodating special dietary needs and concerns.
Also, congratulations on making the healthy choice to breastfeed your child!! :thumbsup2

Hope you have a great trip!

We ate at Boma for dinner a few weeks ago and as I recall there was not a lot of nut related things. My mom is not allergic, but she does not like to eat nuts in her food, and she found plenty to eat. But I would do what the previous poster suggested and call and ask. Have fun!

That IS a great question. Do as magiclovinmama says, call em up. They may not have actual peanuts in their food but they may have used peanut oil to cook or something. Directly call up Boma and see what's up. Good luck!

Foobs :earsboy:

You can also call the dietary needs line (407-560-7292) and they may be able to answer your questions

I know from reading other peoples posts about food allergies and Boma that they will work with you. First of all they will point out what you can have, and sometimes the chefs will make you something special.

Thanks Everyone,

I plan to call the manager/ Chef at Boma and speak with them. I also had the peanut allergy added to our ADR's.

I have heard that WDW is really great about food allergies. I am really happy about this as I would hate to end up in the ER with my son while on vacation.
