We are looking into Boma for our rehearsal dinner this February and I wondered if the buffet had things like chicken fingers and such?

Yes, there is a children's station that has the fairly generic children's offerings, including chicken fingers.

I've eaten at Boma twice for dinner, and I think it's great for picky eaters! They have plain carved meats, regular child food, are great if you have allergies (they made some plain grilled salmon and plain rice for my DS once, he loved it and ate so well!).

It is a beautiful resort, to visit if you aren't staying there!

We like a glass of their wine also - they have some nice choices.

One thought: if it's a rehearsal dinner, you will have a lot of up and down going through the buffet. We did a big group once there (12 of us, including 6 children) and it was a bit hectic to actually visit with each other. I think for our big group, a regular sit down meal would have been more relaxing to actually talk to each other. With the little kids, we were spending some time helping them go through the line, then getting our food ourselves. We did enjoy the food, though!

If you are staying there, having a club room would be nice, so you can visit in the lounge before or after the meal.

Jiko is another nice option: more expensive, but you are served, and the food was good there also. I think for picky eaters, though, a buffet is good. Just weighing the pros and cons if it's a big group.

We had dinner there in Sept. and saw lots of kids eating child friendly foods like mac and cheese, chicken fingers, and of course some fun desserts:) Boma and AKL is a fun and fascinating place for kids, we saw lots of them.

Even my DS who is the WORLD's pickiest eater found something he liked there. Enjoy and congrats!

We went in Oct, DH and I did not like it at all.

I know there was chicken fingers because there were 2 little boys, 8-10ish, and they were sitting next to us....all they ate was a chicken finger, strawberries and chocolate chip cookies.

my son will tell you it's one of his favorite places (besides LeCellier for the pretzel bread) because they have awesome french fries and ketchup!:confused3

Love Boma! Our picky eater and our vegetarian both find plenty to eat! I say go for it!

There are 3 rotating menus, the night we went there was no chicken fingers. There was chicken wings instead.

Lots of options for kids! The night we went, I got DD3.5 carved sirloin & french fries. I do remember chicken nuggets there, as well as plain pasta with the option of sauce and meatballs -- put it together however you'd like. It seems that the chefs at Disney restaurants are very accomodating. I'm sure if you set up a rehersal dinner directly with Boma they would be able to tell you in advance what the offerings will be for that night, or make something special for your party.

Congrats on the wedding! Hope it's magical :goodvibes

Boma is certainly fine for picky eaters! We went for the first time in July, and all three of my kids are picky eaters. They all found stuff to put on their plate, and their are many kids selections.:)
