I've read so many positive comments about Boma that I must go in July. We will be on dining plan so, which meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner) would you recommend and why? TIA

I believe that BOMA only offers breakfast and dinner. I have been to both. I would highly recommend both but if you have to chose then I would say go for dinner. The breakfast options are not any different to anywhere else except for the fabulous fruit juice they offer.

The dinner has some uniquie offerings and everything is soooo good. I can not wait to go back. :Pinkbounc

I had both and loved both, but dinner was better!

We went there for dinner and it was our least favourite meal of the week. My parents hated it and my brother and I were so-so with it.

It appears that with Boma's dinner you either love it or hate it. Not a lot of middle ground. :confused3

Willow is correct - Boma does not serve lunch. (Shame, it'd be nice to have an option besides Mara for lunch at AKL)

My DH & I love breakfast at Boma. My DS prefers dinner. I'm just not a huge buffet dinner kind of person, altho Boma is better than the usual dinner buffet.

I'd say if you are a bit adventerous, go for dinner. They have some wonderful African Inspired food. If you are a little more cautious with your food, go for breakfast. Breakfast has the same wonderful atmosphere with more familiar food choices.

for sure! Breakfast is great but dinner is where Boma really shines!

I agree with most posters...dinner is the way to go. There's something for everyone...carving station, dessert station, salads, pastas, rices...ordinary to exotic (although didn't see anything TOO exotic!).
Breakfast is good, but ordinary.

Also, as you are on the dining plan, you will get more "bang for your buck" if you use the TS credits for a dinner. Just another thing to think about.

I am certainly not an adventureous eater at all but Dinner at Boma was one of my favorite meals of our 10 day stay. I loved it because it was so different and got to try all sorts of new items. Yum!!!

My 3 year old granddaughter ate more that night than any other night!

I'm very adventurous (heck, you have to be with all the types of cultural foods we have in Hawaii!) so it'll be dinner at Boma's! Can't wait! Thanks for your input!

My DD and I are doing both breakfast and dinner. Breakfast because it's delicious and she's a breakfast person and dinner because I'd like her to try the food--we eat a lot of different cuisines, but she's never had African food.

Boma is a must-do every trip.

Dinner!!!!!

My wife and I are counting the days till we get to go back....YUMMMM
