Boma vs. Tusker

Hi All!

Last trip my DH and I ate at Boma and LOVED it! This time around we will have our little ones with us. The question I have is, would you rather eat at Tusker for lunch while at AK or do Boma for dinner after visiting AK? Our children will be 20 months at the time.

By all means try the Tusker House for lunch. Get the right ADR time and you also get preferred seating at the Nemo show. Win win.

Yes, I'd do Tusker House! I think if you book between 1pm-1:45pm you get priority seating to the 3:30 show. Tusker House was my kids favorite!

I'd definitely do this instead of Boma! I loooove the nemo show. AMAZING!

Boma is the only restaurant I make an ADR for on most of my trips. The last three times I've been to Disney I ate at Tusker House for lunch and it has become my second favorite. I'd do both (just not the same day) but if I had to choose one for you I'd go TH. The food is very close and just as good, the price is much less since it is lunch and not dinner, and you can do the Nemo seating. Plus you would have done both and can compare them for yourself.

Boma has been a favorite of mine for many years. This year I ate lunch at Tusker House twice. 11:30am lunch is perfect as it has just opened and not crowded yet (good if you have small kids). The food was incredible and this is now my new FAVORITE place to eat!! Did I mention the food was incredible!!

We were debating this very topic. We had planned on doing Boma (love it). But it's our MNSSHP night and we want to get to MK early so Boma wasn't working in our plans. We got a ADR for Tusker House for lunch instead. Now I am happy with the decision after hearing others comments. Thanks.

You've probably got enough recommendations for TH to make your decision, but I love TH so much that I had to respond. DH and I have been to both Boma and TH. Both are good, but TH was definitely our favourite... and it's a nice respite in the middle of the day!

Well I think we will do Tusker!

But it's true, we can also do Boma on another day. Maybe we'll think about it for a non-park day.
