Hi All,

Could you please provide any feedback regarding these two restaurants? My fiance and I are considering both of these places for the reception dinner since they are buffet's. Trying to keep costs down :)

We are wondering which one (Boma or Ohana's) would be more appropriate for a wedding party?

FYI - we are having an intimate wedding with 18 guests.

Thanks!

I have not been too BOMA but Ohana's does not have a private room if that is something you are looking for...the resturant also gets very very crowded and noisy. Another option for this resturant is that you could either get the very first seating time or the very last seating time (when there will be fewer guests in the resturant). But the food there is soooooo yummy!!! Hope this helps.

:sunny:

Ive been to both for dinner and prefer Ohana. BOMA is more traditional buffet where your guests would need to get up to serve themselves each time they wanted something. At Ohana, the servers bring the food to the table for you and you just request what you would like more of. Personally, we enjoyed the food at Ohana much more than BOMA. And the view was better too. It is noisy in there since there are activites going on during dinner. But it was a fun place.

I haven't been to Boma, although it sounds really nice. I have been working on my DH - trying to convince him to do an intimate VR for our 10th anniversary in 02/07 - and my idea is to have it at the Poly Sunset Pointe. Then after the mini-reception, we would be going to Ohana's for dinner. It is really pretty, the food is fabulous, and it's lots of fun! I think fun is very important for a Disney event!!! Only downside is if you really wanted that soft romantic feeling  it is pretty wild sometimes. If you are OK with the fun aspect, I don't think you could go wrong!

Go for Ohana. The food and service are so much better, and you can always catch WISHES if you're there are the right time :cool1:
