We are attending the Dec. 18 MVMCP and have 4:00 ADR's at Boma. This is a short trip and I want to cram as much in as possible, but I want to get to the party as early as possible. I have heard several folks take about the wait time to be seated at different resturants and wondered if Boma was one of those that required a legenthy wait?
I really would like to arrve at the AKL around 3:15 to check out the decorations, eat at 4:00 and by 5:00 be waiting on a bus to MK. Can that timetable work out?

We haven't been in December, but stayed at AKL in January this year and last. I can't remember any large groups of people waiting to be seated at Boma, especially not so early in the afternoon.

A few years ago, I do remember seeing lots of people waiting for tables between 6:00 and 8:00 PM, but it feels like Boma is not as popular as it once was. Maybe a lot of people tried it once and didn't care for the unusual flavors (we love Boma and eat there at least once every trip).

I think your plan will work just fine.

A couple of years ago when my family and I went to Boma during the month of December I remember us waiting at least 30 minutes or more past our scheduled ADR time, because they were always backed up with all the ADR's for that night. However we had been there after 7:00 PM and that was part of the reason and I am not sure how busy they are at 4:00 PM.

With an early reservation like that, you probably won't have to wait for more than 5 minutes to be seated.
