I currently have a reservation for Boma for 9:20pm on a Monday. Here's my question- is that too late to go to the buffet?? Will there be a lack of food? Will it have been out for the entire evening? Will it be cold?

I'm a little concerned and would love anyone's feedback on this.

Thanks!

Kathleen

There wont b a lack of food, All areas will be filled but I bet that the clean up will also b taking place while your meal is going on. Im pretty sure they wont be filling up half empty platters like they normally do at say 7 or 8pm

It's no different than if you were dining there earlier. We often go very late; the latest we have been seated there is 10:20. By the time you are done eating, you will notice that it's getting quieter as tables are vacating but you won't notice any difference in the service or the food offerings.

We have eaten at Boma MANY times, and have been there that late on a couple of occasions. I have not noticed any shortage of food, or lack of freshness to the offerings.

One of our favorites -- almost a "must do" on any Disney trip! :thumbsup2

Totally disagree. Whenever we have had one of the last ADR's for a buffet (or any TS restaurant for that matter) we have never watched them start to clean up for the night/service. They really do a good job of waiting for everyone to leave. Food will still be brought out fresh, even if there are just a few tables finishing up their meals and no one is really getting up to the buffet anymore. You get the same service as the last ADR as you would durring the peak dining times. We have never felt rushed or felt obligated to have our meal quickly due to the time of our ADR. My girlfriend and I like to have late ADR's because we don't like to take the prime seatings that are much more valuable to a family of 4 with 2 young kids then they are to a 27 and 24 year old and also the meal tends to end much quieter which is a nice plus. Enjoy it! :thumbsup2

This definitely has not been the case in my experience. Disney does an excellent job of keeping the buffets filled until the restaurant closes and all patrons have finished their meals. With a 9:20 reservation, you will have no problem with the food selection or quality.

We always get the very latest ADR we can for breakfast(11:00 a.m.) and have never had an issue with lack of or cold food. It's WONDERFUL! :goodvibes
