Boma or Sanaa???

which place is the better place to eat. I have reservations at both but thinking of cancelling one. I know Boma has the excellent buffet but what stands out at Sanaa.

Also im a bit confused on the menu at Sanaa as to what is included in the table service is it an appetizer, salad, dinner, & bread service??

I am assuming you are on the dining plan. If you are on the basic dining plan, an appetizer is not included (and that applies to the bread service or a salad) - if you want one you pay extra. An entree, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage is included.

If you are on the deluxe dining plan an appetizer is included. Because the bread service is listed as an appetizer "for two" it is possible they'll only let you have it as your appetizer if two people order it. It's also possible they'll let just one person order it as their appetizer.

IMO Sanaa is much better food, but Boma has more variety. You can try many new things at Boma that you might not ever have otherwise.

At Sanaa the stand-outs for us were: the bread service, cauliflower, banana leaf-wrapped fish and chicken with red curry.

It really depends how adventurous your group is. If some aren't too adventurous, Boma offers some standard fare as well as some really wonderful, exotic dishes. That may be easier for those who are worried about finding something they like.

It's really hard to compare since one is a buffet, where everything is included, and one is a table service.

Boma's variety is amazing but overall, I like the food and atmosphere much better at Sanaa. I couldn't imagine not getting the bread service (would have to pay OOP if on regular dining plan). For the entree, I enjoyed the slow cooked chicken in red curry and the slow cooked beef ribs.
