Ate at Sanaa yesterday, stopped at Joharis treasures for zebra domes. Guy working there and I started talking about how much we love them and how I wished Boma would be open. He covered his name tag and said “you didn’t hear it from me, but we are supposed to be open on August 20th”. So, we will see.

There have been lots of strong rumors of it opening around or at the same time that AKL fully reopens on August 26th. I would love for it to be open when I'm staying there later this year!

I hope this is true. I also hope it opens as a buffet and not merely a family style meal. We really want to eat there again.

I find it weird that Sanaa was listed as not having breakfast on my dates in Sept. I thought they had breakfast right now? Made me wonder if they are planning for Boma to be open and that's why.

Sanaa is now a QS breakfast only (7am-10am), so it will not show as having breakfast availability.

Sanaa has always been a QS at breakfast. Right now it has breakfast hours listed, but it does not for later in the year.

I was confused because I was seeing the hours on the app. Disney tech at its finest - all synced on all platforms.

Similar stories are being reported on other sites (that cannot be named here lol). According to AKL CMs: Boma will reopen Aug 20th, Victoria Fall Lounge will reopen Aug 26th and Jiko will reopen by late Sept.

Watch the roast carving board is an upcharge, as will the Zebra Domes, and they will no longer have rotating soups, it will only be the same 2 soups all week.

Awww give them a little credit. For a small up charge you can add authentic Heinz BBQ sauce on your chicken legs! Plus a souvenir napkin!

Havent been to Boma our last 3-4 visits - Of course the family decided they wanted to go this time. I broke the news it was currently closed so don't count on it - but seems it will be open for our Nov trip. Hope it will be as good as I remember.

Someone else said they waiter from Topolinos said he was returning to Boma in 2 weeks, so it all sounds about right! I just hope its not the same family style as other places. The best thing about Boma was the variety of options.
