Hey all I need your opinion! So far I have ADR's for
Crystal Palace-dinner
Chef Mickeys-dinner
Wolf Gang Puck-dinner

and I need one more for dinner and I narrowed it down to Boma, Ohana, and Cape May Cafe. Ive been to Boma and Ohana before and LOVED both of them, but never been to Cape May Cafe. My question if you had to choose one, which would you prefer? And also how is the seafood at Cape Maye Cafe? I heard they have snow crab legs, which is a plus for my family. And lastly, do you think I should switch WGP to the ones I described? Thanks!!

How come nobody answered you? hmmmm......:confused3

Well, we have been to both Boma and Jiko, AND Cape May.
I don't know where you are from, but we are from Manhattan and have pretty high standards. I would compare the Cape May buffet to that of Red Lobster, at best. While we absolutely LOVED both Boma and Jiko, we found the buffet at Cape May to be of a really average quality and lame choices.

If you want to try it, go ahead- but I wouldn't have high expectations of the place. Am I glad I went? Sure. Our waitress was nice, we had a pleasant experience. Was the food good? Um, not really. We aren't going back.

You win most and you lose some with Disney restaurants. Luckily, we have amazing experiences 9 times out of 10!! :dance3:

I agree about Cape May....We love Boma and go every trip!!! :lovestruc That's my vote.

I actually like Cape May Cafe, but it doesn't compare to the other two places you mentioned. I rank Boma and 'Ohana among the greatest restaurants on property. Both are wonderful and worthy of your final reservation.

I would go with ohana. The kids will enjoy the coconut race and conga line. The food is good and a Child's Menu Available Upon Request.

Ohana is a great choice with teenage boys who love meat. The food is good but the options are fairly limited IMHO. If youa re aveggie eater, ya probably won't be overly happy here.

Cape May is not awful but its not great.

Boma, loys to choose from. They do not have chicken nuggets on the kids menu however, they will make them for the picky child.

Boma and Ohana are two of my absolute favorite restaurants in WDW, but since we stay at the Yacht Club usually now we also always eat at Cape May which I like, it just is not as good as Ohana or Boma, but why not give it a shot? I don't think you'll hate it.

Oh boy, I wouldn't be able to choose between Ohana or Boma. I personally wouldn't choose Cape May Cafe because I can't make an entire meal of what is served there, but it may be a good place for you.

Personally, I would drop Crystal Palace and add both Boma and Ohana! Or if you really needed Crystal Palace, drop Wolfgang Puck Cafe.

Ohana's would be my last choice. Never have liked it.

We all like Boma and Cape May. I would say Boma has better offerings but now that Cape May has crab legs, I am planning 2 trips vs. only 1 to Boma on our next trip.

If you really enjoy crab legs than Cape May Buffet would be a good choice. Boma and Ohana are 2 of my favorite, with Ohana winning by small margin. For me it's Ohana love :lovestruc the shrimp and bread pudding too much.

So it is kinda like a seafood buffet? Does it have fried shrimp? How are the ribs?We leave in 3 weeks but no ADR is set in stone with me. I will go where I know my DD-11 will eat. Since i grow up on the SEE-Food Diet ( you see the food that is on your plate. You eat it or go hungry) I eat almost anything

Personally, I would drop Crystal Palace and add both Boma and Ohana! Or if you really needed Crystal Palace, drop Wolfgang Puck Cafe.

My preference of course, but i would not drop Wolfgang Puck Cafe ! it is definitely one of my favorites and a must on every trip

We love Boma and that is 100% a must do for us. But I say try Cape May Cafe and make up your own mind about it. We really enjoyed it on our last trip and we will include it in our ADRs for our next trip but if I were only going to WDW for one meal it would be Boma, hands down.

Have never been to to 2 of your choices but can tell you that Cape May was not impressive. They do have snow crab legs but that did not make the buffet for me.

I have been to all 3, and Cape May wasnt that good, while Boma and Ohana are two of my favorite restaurants. I'd have to go with Boma.
