I have an ADR for both a BOMA breakfast and dinner. Not on the same day of course:rotfl: Never been to Boma for anything, but wanted opinions. DM does not care for spicy food at all, but LOVES breakfast and is dying to try a zebra dome. Kids are all big breakfast fans, but I unfortunately am not. Just wanted to get some opinions before I give one of these ressies away to a fellow dis'er.:goodvibes

I love Boma dinner. There are plenty of options there, some exotic and some not, so everyone will find something they like. I have been to many African restaurants and Boma does tone down the spicing of the food quite a bit compared to more traditional African restaurants.

On my last 3 trips the only ADR I had was Boma dinner and each time I was with at least one person who didn't think they would like anything there. Every one of them loved the food and found plenty to eat there.

I have never had the breakfast but have seen what is there and I would like it I think. I am more of a yogurt, fruit, and granola breakfast eater than sausage, pancakes, and waffles and Boma has plenty of choices for both types of people.

The other thing is that I'd have to choose between Boma and WCC for our thanksgiving dinner. I'm leaning towards WCC for the kids, but really want opinions on Boma fare first:goodvibes

Have only been to Boma for dinner and did not care much for it. Most of the flavors were too sweet for me including the zebra domes.

We have had both dinner and breakfast. Our family prefers breakfast but I will say we have a couple of picky eaters in our group. There is plenty to choose from at both meals even if you are a picky eater so don't let that hold you back (my picky ones would just rather go somewhere else since there are so many places to choose from at WDW). If you choose breakfast but still want the zebra domes, I think I have read that are sold in Mara (the cs at akl). Some one who has been to Mara recently could tell you for sure.

We love Boma breakfast, it is fantastic....since we enjoy it so much we thought we would love dinner too but we didnt like it at all.

:goodvibesThanks to everyone for their input! We picked it for Breakfast on the morning we are heading home. Can't wait!!!!:goodvibes

You can get zebra domes at Mara, the CS location at AKL, for a snack credit on the DDP. Five zebra domes come in a pack.

In my opinion, with the exception of a handful of dishes, you can get the same breakfast at any Table Service at Disney as you get at Boma. Dinner is really the meal that has the unique menu. As others have mentioned Boma is definitely tame when it comes to the level of heat in their spice, I find many of the dishes sweeter than I would normally eat....still great, but sweet. Also, many mention the fact that African food is "spicy"...in my opinion it is not "spicy"...hot, it is "spicy"...full of lots of flavorful spices. I really enjoy the "spicy" flavors found at Boma's dinner.

I didn't eat there for breakfast but dinner there was one of my favorite nights. The buffet is HUGE and has such wonderful ethnic food. There is also food for the kiddos too. I was really impressed! Great ambience too!
