Boma Dinner

Another vote for Boma! And for the chef who walked us through the buffet item by item and showed us what was and wasn't allergy-safe for my daughter.

And another vote for taking tiny samples of everything and then going back for what you really like. (But I really liked nearly everything!)

YES! Boma is wonderful. The foods are very flavorful and different. That's what we love about it. (Then again when I'm on vacay, I don't like to eat chicken fingers and burgers. I can get those anywhere at home.) Two trips ago we stayed at AKL and had 3 meals there. If you like to try different foods, you will not be disapointed.:goodvibes

And yes, the resort is very beautiful. Certainly give yourself time to explore.

I would go from "anywhere" on Disney property to get to Boma for dinner :lmao: Ii is my DH's favorite meal and not that hard to get to IMO. Just get an AK bus from anywhere and then it's a short ride to AKL. Or if you're at MK or another park, get a direct bus to AKL. Love, Love it  We like to go over during the day and walk out the back and watch the animals - usually more then, than at night.

We did Boma for dinner on our AK day. Just took the short bus ride over from the park. The space is beautiful and with 14 people in our party, we were all full and satisfied. It was my favorite meal of our last trip. The hummus bar and soups were great and the desserts were tasty. We never felt rushed or crowded, although it is a bit noisy. I would recommend Boma :)

We just booked a trip for the end of June and the first thing our soon be college graduate said was, "Book Boma first". So we get the earliest res. we can leave the MK and go eat and then go back for the fireworks and EMH to wear off all the food. It is absoutely worth every bite. Thank above for DP.:worship:

Boma was a mixed bag for us. Great atmosphere and kids loved the food. Adults found it good but not amazing or extra memorable. Service wasa subpar too, nothing rude or out of Elaine but nothing that made us feel welcome either.

My DH and I ate there is DEC 2011 and we didn't care for it at all. I was hoping there would at least be chicken nuggets if I didn't like the adult food but no luck there either. I'm glad we got to visit the resort but won't be going back.
