We've never eaten there before and are excited to try something new... but are debating which to try... breakfast or dinner?

Or should we try Tusker House for Lunch???

Boma only has breakfast until 11:00 or 11:30am and then reopens at 4:00pm for dinner. ;)

Oh really?? Welp... Then I guess I wonder which is better... breakfast or dinner (and I'll start re-looking at my schedule)

We have done both. Both breakfast and dinner are great, but if you can only do one, I would go with dinner. Its divine! :thumbsup2

I haven't been to Boma for breakfast, but I had a quick look at the menu. My thoughts - go for dinner! It looks like a lot of the breakfast items are standard fare. Half the fun of eating at Boma is trying the delicious African-inspired fare. You're going to get so much more of that at dinner - and it's SO good :) DH and I also love Tusker House, so if you'd rather do a lunch time than dinner, you'll be just as happy there (in my opinion).

Well... I am looking for a lunch on our AK day. Dinner that night will be at Cali Grill. So I guess my choices would be... Boma breakfast, Tusker House, or Yak and Yeti huh?

Or I could completely rework our tentative schedule to try to put Boma for dinner. We have Ohana, Kona, Cali Grill, CRT, Cape May, and Le Cellier set as our 6 dinners. Should I consider giving up one of those to try Boma for dinner instead??

You have great choices for dinner, but Boma is a great one for dinner too! Maybe you can switch Cape May for breakfast and still get the character experience? Or Kona for breakfast which is outstanding, one of the best in WDW for breakfast! The Konga toast is a fan favorite :thumbsup2

I would defnitely do Boma for dinner. I would skip either Kona or 'Ohana, I don't think you need both since they are similar in many ways and at the same resort. Kona is great but I dislike the coffee shop atmosphere. If Kona really appeals, I would do lunch.

We are actually staying at the Poly which is why we have both O'hana and Kona on tap. O'hana is our arrival day tradition and my dh LOVES his tuna oscar... there'd be no way I could talk him away from it ;)

If you don't want to rework your schedule, then Tusker House for lunch is a great choice. The food is delicious and similar to Boma. It's my AK favourite.

Boma for dinner, Tusker House for breakfast. We loved Boma dinner and were underwhelmed by breakfast. However, we thought the Tusker house breakfast was fantastic! Either way, enjoy! :goodvibes
