Boma Breakfast Details please

Still trying to decide on which breakfast buffet for our group of 9 in Feb. The question I asked previously about which is best had overwhelming support for Boma. Now I would appreciate some details about this breakfast. The group is not very adventurous when it comes to food. Most prefer traditional "midwestern" style cooking. Plain eggs, sausage, bacon, oatmeal, potatos etc...

I am a bit worried that Boma will be to "exotic" for us. (just the restaurant name will cause fear for some in the group )

Can you give me a bit more information about the breakfast offerings? I have seen the menus on allears, but just need reassurances that we can get "plain" food!

Also, do they happen to have a "kid's" buffet area like Chef Mickey's? DD5 thinks that is the coolest thing that there was an area her size to serve herself--made her feel very special!

Boma's breakfast is a much more traditional type meal than the dinner buffet. There are a few items with an African flare but not too much. Non adventurous eaters will be fine at Boma for breakfast. We like both meals. One of my daughters likes the breakfast better and one prefers dinner. So, we rotate trips as to which meal we will be doing. This time around it's breakfast.

I agree that most of the food items are traditional, American breakfast buffet fare. The African dishes are actually off to the side. I loved them; the kids didn't go near them. Everyone in your group will love the dining room and setting, and those who are more adventurous will appreciate the "exotic" food options.

Plenty of eggs, cereal, made to order omelettes, fruit, yogurt, muffins, pastries, etc. for those who don't want to try anything new. We love their buffet. It doesn't seem as crowded or as loud as dinner.
