We had an extra TS credit for our Sept. trip, yes I know it is a long time from now, but I love to plan. Anyway the day we head to the beach we thought we would have breakfast at Boma's, and just look around the lodge. Can you see many animals from inside the lodge. Can you walk around the loge and see any. Any info would be great. Thanks.:)

I can't find any pictures that I took from inside the Lodge, but you'll be able to walk around outside and see animals. I think one of the savannas is viewable from inside, but you'll see lots more animals if you take a walk outside.

Boma breakfast is incredible, our favorite. You can walk around the many animal viewing spots and see tons of animals

We LOVE Boma AND AKLodge! You wont be able to see anything but lush landscaping from BOMA windows; & Yes you can see parts of the savannah from the HUGE (beautiful) picture window just inside the lobby but not really the animals (you enter on the second floor). Walk down those steps and doors will take you out to the savannah where you can meander around, there are guides out side at stations that will talk and explain things, really a neat place, if your lucky you catch African singing in the lobby or a kids activity - we stayed there once and every day I had a hard time getting the kids out of the hotel to go to a park! Sorry I dont know how to post a my photos yet but check out the boards or allears.net you can find some.

AKL isn't just animals. Be sure to spend some time exploring inside the Lodge and the gift shop. Even if you don't purchase anything there are some wonderful items to check out in the shop.
