Boma and Biergarten

Hey! I'm excited about trying some new places this coming trip! Want to do Biergarten for lunch or dinner and Boma for dinner and 1900 PF for bf. I'm excited about sampling the new cuisine at Biergarten and Boma, but my DS10 and DD8 might not want to venture out. Do these places offer the traditional mac and cheese or fries or stuff like that for kids?

Any other tips about these places would be great too! Thanks Disers!

Biergarten has some kids items, I had some myself LOL. Can't wait to eat there tomorrow for dinner, now if I can fall asleep so excited

When I was at Boma in August, they had all the basic kid type food in the buffet... Have a great time Boma is excellent.....

I am not an adventurous eater and I can promise that Boma has every kind of "regular" food and adventurous food anyone could want to try. Go for it

Both places offered kid-friendly items like mac and cheese. Boma also had fries and chicken tenders. Biergarten has roasted potatoes, bread and butter, and rotisserie chicken. But even some of the traditional items appeal to kids like the schnitzel, soups, and of course, dessert. My DS8 loved both places and wanted to go back for seconds.

I think I can safely say that pretty much every Disney restaurant has a traditional kids menu... I have the world's pickiest eater and she loved Boma b/c of the kids bar and the dessert bar. It is also my new fave restaurant. If you are not staying at AKL, make sure you take a walk around the resort after your meal. Don't miss the gift shop and the animal viewing outside. A perfect ending to a perfect meal. ENJOY!!!

We ate at both Boma and Beirgarten this past August and absolutely loved both. If you like wine, I would recomend the Kannonkop, it was really good, and very well priced. Boma blew me away. We stayed at Kidani and ate at Saana but didn't like it as much as Boma.
