i wondered is all food at boma's spicy? cause im not a big spicy fan , i dont mind mild spice

Not too spicy...but different!
If your not used to spice and a lot of different flavors this may not be the place for you! I'm not picky at all.... my motto is the hotter the better so I LOVE Boma
but I think to pay the price of dinner there and only enjoy one or two things it probably wouldn't be worth it!! But if you are adventurous and like to try new things I say go for it!! I love it and so does my daughter who's 21!!;)

looks like this is the menu for right now....http://www.themouseforless.com/tripplanning/menus/wdw/boma.shtml

There's not a lot here that is hot spicy. Most are just different flavors than you're used to, like cinnamon and allspice in some meat dishes. Peanut and coconut flavorings, nuts, tumeric, corriander, cumin, ginger (can be hot if there's a lot of it), that sort of thing.

DH is not adventurous at all and and hates anything hot, but finds plenty that he likes here. I go for the more exotic flavors so I love Boma!

There are usually chefs nearby the pods during dinner to answer any questions about tastes or ingredients. They are very helpful.

The food at Boma's is awesome it was our favorite restaurant. There is so much variety to choose from some is spicey and some is not. There is also "safe" food like meatballs, mac and cheese, and nuggets! The dessert bar is awesome too. What I liked is that I could try new things and it didn't matter if I liked it or not. The salmon was really good and I don't like seafood.

Boma is nice and I always enjoy it there... but I don't think the food there is very exotic or spicy at all, even if they give some of the dishes exotic-sounding names.

Everything at Boma is spiced with sweet spices as above poster said.

Everything....meats, sides (including potatoes and veggies), even the soups are sweet.
It was like eating a holiday dessert for dinner.

YUCK....we didn't like it.

I wish there would've been some "hot" spice to something. :rotfl2:

Rather than very hot, I'd say that it is very flavorful.

I enjoyed it (and Tusker House food) very much!

My mom doesn't like spicy, and she loved Boma. There are some spicy options, like any resturant, but it is pretty clear what they are.

I just ate there on Monday. I had never seen the Peanut Soup on the buffet before, and although there was just a teeny bit of spice to it, I thought it was the most delicious thing I ate there that night!

This was, by far, my families favorite restaurant. We tried a lot of different things and I don't remember anything being particularily spicy.

YUCK. We are very adventurous...like Indian/Moroccon/Chinese/Japanese/Thai/Greek, etc. We even like most of the food at Sanaa, which is Indian/African tastes.

Boma...YUCK! As mentioned above, many way too sweet foods. Like let's put sugar on all the veggies. And then, let's put cinnamon on all the meats. To the point the meat tasted like it was covered with red-hots candy (yes, sweet & spicy-hot at same time.EWWW.) Mild spices, NO WAY. Over-the-top overly spiced, yes, lots of dishes.

The foods that were not over-sweetened or over-spiced were totally bland & flavorless. Top that off with LONG lines at the buffet tables, way too many kids sticking their fingers in everything...well, we are not Boma-backers.

Although...we LOVED Boma breakfast...totally different experience. No lines, many delicious choices (including some good ethnic ones...maybe we hit a night when the substitute chef went nuts on the spices?) Anyway, would suggest Boma breakfast, but would never in a million years suggest Boma for anyone with picky tastes, or who doesn't like food clobbered with spices.

Just my opinion, of course:dance3:...and I know I'm a minority on here.:rolleyes1

Boma doesn't have many spicy dishes, but they do use a lot of cinnamon. You should be fine.
