my 6 yo just reintroduced me to the fine art of eating the meat off the red ring around the bologna slice...i hadn't done that in years...i asked him who taught him and he said no one, "you just know." so i guess it is instinctive!

two questions though:
1)have you done that yourself
2)does it count toward flossing

1. Yes, still do it
2. Doesn't count towards flossing - it counts towards toothpicking though!:teeth:

Honestly, that's the first thing I eat of bologna... it's a must do!

:crazy2: After eating bologna for my whole childhood I just can't stand the stuff anymore. I don't think I ever ate the meat off the ring though.

I wouldn't eat bologna with or without a ring LOL....blech!!

I usually buy the Oscar Mayer and the kind I get doesn't have a ring. Its been solong i forgot about the ring but when i was younger I always ate the meat around the ring. That was the best part.Oh my goodness know I have to go find Bologna with the red ring to introduce to my youngins.
