BOG --will they combine our reservations?

Hello all--I read these boards frequently but don't usually post.

My DW, DD and I are traveling to Disney World & Universal Studios in late November. I haven't been able to secure a reservation for all three of us at the time I want . . but I have 2 reservations at almost the same time:

11/25 @ 4:55 for 1 person
11/25 @ 5:00 for 2 people

Will they combine us when we arrive and seat us at one table? Has anyone else done this before? Just curious if this will work or if I need to keep hunting for a table of 3. Thanks for any input you can provide.

You can ask but it's not guaranteed. It'll depend on if they have a 4 top available (not sure if they have actual 3 tops). You might be lucky with such early reservations.

They could also put you at 2 tops next to each other.

They will have you ask at the podium to see if it is possible. It may depend on where they have you scheduled to sit- like if they have your party of 2 scheduled at a 4-top it will be easier than if they have it scheduled at a 2-top. They may also try to accommodate but tell you it will be a longer wait- last night they were going to put our party of 7 at a table with 6 chairs. We asked for a rectangular table instead of the round table they had us at (due to wheelchair/feeding issues) and they told us they would be able to seat us elsewhere but it would be 15-20 minutes longer...this was even though we had a 4:30 ressie and the restaurant was mostly empty still.

We are in the parks now. We have a party of 5 and yesterday, I had a ressie for 4 at 4:30 and for 2 at 6:30. I was told to come to the podium the day of reservation to see if they could combine. I did as I was told and they accommodated us with no problems. Hope that helps!

Thank you! Sounds like we should be ok. I don't mind a little extra wait if it will mean we can all eat together!
