BOG Reservation for 1 vs. 2 Guests

Apologies if this has been discussed before, but I wasn't able to find anything.

Like many others, I've been trying to get lunch reservations for BOG. There will be 2 of us dining, but today I looked to see if I was able to get a reservation for one guest and was successful.

My question: If we show up and have a party of two, would they allow both of us to dine?

I'm a bit confused why Disney would have availability for solo diners but not a party of two. The only thing I can think of is fire code/occupancy concerns for the maximum number of people given that its the same number of tables.

BOG lunch books to total seating capacity without regard to table size.

They may or may not allow the second person on the bridge.

Try getting an additional reservation for one at or near the same time. Calling may work if you can't get it online.

Absolutely. My goal is to find a reservation for two, but I took what I could find.

I tried, but no success but will keep checking.

I was able to get a second reservation for 10 minutes later. When I called to ask about combining them I was told to just have DH join me at my table when he comes in after me.

That is correct - since it is seat yourself set up for brft and lunch, he can just join you when he comes in. However, if he checks in early with you, you might both get in line to order and go in together anyway. In the meantime, keep trying for ADR for 2 - try Touring Plans Reservation Finder if you haven't yet - free to join and often comes through!

That's what we did. We needed to add one more and it wouldn't let me. When I called she found one single res 15 min later and she said just tell them when we all arrive that we are sitting together.
