We have reservations for dinner, can we request which dining room to dine in and if so which do you recommend?

Last I read you could not request. If you arrive and find you can, we love the Masters West wing with the enchanted Rose and a close second choice is the main ballroom (with the snowfall window) Don't really care for the other room with the music box of Beast & Belle dancing. Good luck & enjoy!!!!

1) The "word" is that you cannot request a dining room.
. . . the ASSIGNER assigns the table through his/her tablet
. . . the assignment is transmitted to the SEATER, who guides you to the table
2) However, you can make a Request at the podium when you check-in.
3) The SEATER, if they want to make the effort, can request it to the ASSIGNER.
4) Just be extra-special-nice to the podium person --- the can be your friend.
5) For lunch, you pretty much seat yourself, so rooms are not a problem.

We've had luck requesting a room on two separate occasions, but (as with anything else in the World) YMMV. We requested the ballroom and were told that it wouldn't be a problem. Then requested the West Wing and were informed it would be an additional wait of 15 minutes or so. We were seated almost immediately in both cases and in the room we requested.

I prefer the ballroom because it's just so cool, and I like to visit the west wing, but feel like it's too dark to eat there.

Have a great trip! :)

We had an 830pm reservation last year during Christmas and had no problem requesting a specific table when we checked in. They're upfront about the wait time; if you don't mind waiting extra they'll accommodate you! :)

I also had the experience where they were willing to accommodate, but let us know that it would be a longer wait. Since we were hungry and it was hot, we decided not to wait any longer.

We requested to sit in the West Wing, but my son was 3 at the time, and the people at the podium advised that it might not be a good idea because it can be dark and loud in the room, due to the stormy sound effects. Another reason we chose to stick to our original table.
