I have a (as of now) PPO BOG res for 815. Assuming MK stays with the current opening of 9, will this give us enough time to eat (we will pre order) and get to ride 7DMT before rope drop crowd or do you really need to have an 800 res?

Show up at MK gates by 7:30-7:40AM.
Enter when they let PPO guests in.
Head straight to BoG.
You will likely be seated early.

As long as you've preordered and get done quick, and they don't open the park early to everyone (let everyone in at say 8:40) then you should be fine. Show up early and you might get seated early

Thank you. With the new opening procedures for MK (letting everyone onto Main St early) do they usually open MK at 840? I know the other parks have a habit of opening a little early but have never encountered that at MK. Also what time do they start running 7DMT?

They aren't going to make you stand to the side while they wait to see if the 8 AM folks all show up on time. And they aren't waiting for someone ahead of you to vacate a seat. At that hour, they wants people in seats as quickly as possible.

Just wanted to say- we have done this quite a few times. With waiting for 7DMT- it depends on the CM's and when they let you on. Usually we get one to two rides. But last time, 7DMT was not working (in January). So do not be upset if all your plans go right just to get to 7DMT and either the CM doesn't let people on early-ish or it's not working. We always pre-order our food and it hits our table within a couple mintues of sitting down. We eat and are out the door and lined up for 7DMT. Never takes us more than 20 minutes tops.

I haven't personally but plenty do. I believe you'll be charged for not showing up though.

That's true...I forgot about that. We may as well make sure we are there early enough to eat a little something before running out to get in line.
