we have 4 adults and a child planning on doing BOG. Is it possible to make rervations for 5 but actually have 2 adults and the child have breakfast? Can I recoup the costs if they go in early with us but technically don’t eat food?

Recoup what costs? You only pay for what you order at BOG. You can have the 2 adults and child order and all 5 share the food or if two do not want to eat, they do not have to.

I thought you have to pay for all 5 ahead of time? If we don’t don’t have to pay for all five ppl that would be great since not great vegetarian selections available. Mainly going for atmosphere and to see park early opening

Unlike buffets and all you care to eat family style restaurants where everyone at the table is charged regardless of whether they eat or not, at BOG you only pay for the food you order. Also, it is not a pre-paid meal. You pay at the restaurant after you order. You will need to include everyone on the reservation whether they are eating or not.
