BOG PPO question

i have the lucky fortune of booking either an 8:00 am or 8:10 am for breakfast.

If we arrive by 7:45 at the gate, is 15 min enough time to leisurely walk up Main Street and enjoy the calm of the park? Or would we be better off at 8:10?
We will have a 5 year old with us, and my DH does enjoy smelling the roses. Just don't want to be late for the 8.

I guess my question is, if we get there for PPO (between 7:30 and 7:45) for either the 8:00 or 8:10, which is better?

I know we are splitting hairs here, but wondering if 7:45 to 8:00 would feel like enough time to meander, or if we should do 8:10 for a little breathing room. Of course we'd love a trip on 7dmt after breakfast, but the main reason I want to do it is for the MK experience early in the morning.

But will they be let in at 7:30? I was thinking they didn't start letting you in for pre-park opening breakfasts until 7:45.

Right - but you still want to get up closer in line even for the opening breakfasts (and they might always let you in earlier)

It does not matter if you get 8 or 8:10. Any PPO ADR for BOG gets you in BOG at 8:00 when it opens. Get to MK gates by 7:30. Head over to the cast member at the far left Tapstiles and she will line you up and you will get in MK at 7:45. Take your time strolling along taking in the sights and photo ops of a nearly empty MK. the later you get to BOG the longer the line waiting to get in will be. That's all. Preorder your food, as this saves time. Enjoy!

Yes! Absolutely. 8:00 to 8:55 PPO ADRs at BOG are first come first serve at 8:00.

Any idea what the latest date before would be that they would add hours? 1 month? 1 week? 1 day??

We were first in line at the MK gate when the bus dropped us off at 7:20

We were in line last week at 7:30 and there were maybe 20 people in front of us. We had 8am reservations and friends with us had 8:15. They started letting us in the park at 7:45 and we slowly made our way back to BOG snapping pictures along the way. We got to the restaurant by 8 and since we had pre-ordered were sent to a kiosk to confirm and make our payment. Our meals were delivered by 8:15 and we were finished and the 6th group of people in line for 7dmt by 8:35. We were on the 2nd train to head out that morning but the crowd piled in in a hurry. Just that bit of a jump on everyone allowed us to ride 7dmt, Peter Pan, Haunted Mansion and start Jungle Cruise by 10 am.

Well the 8:10 is gone, so 8:00 it is! Probably a good thing to have less choice for the indecisive like me

Ok so next question. If we get there at 8:10 or 8:15, will we still be ok? I know no one here can guarantee me anything, and I know what the policy is, just wondering what actually happens in practice during early morning BOG and how they manage guest flow.
