BOG Lunch vs Plaza Lunch

I am torn between BOG lunch and Plaza Lunch and I need your help :)

Just my DH and I are headed down soon for anniversary trip! I have a ressie at both BOG and Plaza for lunch but I want to finalize our plans and get one cancelled. We have eaten at BOG for lunch before but have never eaten at the Plaza. I love love love BOG atmosphere (Beauty and the Beast is my fave!) but the food we found just okay. It was good but not the best we have had. The plaza looks so classic Disney and the food menu looks good. I would probably lean towards BOG but DH is leaning towards Plaza so we are split!

What would you do? I have thought maybe keeping BOG and just getting Dessert there after our lunch at Plaza but I also don't want to be wasting a bunch of time going to two dining places. Our Plaza is at 11 and BOG is not till closer to 1. The price for BOG seems overall a little less expensive and combined with the atmosphere it seems like a bigger bang for the buck.

As you can see I am going back and forth! Any opinions or advice would be much appreciated!!
Thank you!!!!!!!

Since you have tried BOG and the food was just okay for you, I'd be tempted to try something different. The Plaza is definitely on my radar because of the desserts, the atmosphere, and the Figaro Fries that used to be at Pinocchio Haus. I think that they have a different name now but the same components. I don't know if I've ever seen a really bad review of The Plaza and several people have mentioned that it is fairly inexpensive for a Disney restaurant.

We like the Plaza and find it to be perfect for lunch - TS so you get to relax for a bit, it has lighter fare, and is generally inexpensive. Since you've never been, that would be my choice. We have found BOG lunch to be a little faster, though, if you're on a time crunch.

DH and I actually ate at both of these on our trip by ourselves last month. We love the Plaza, though admittedly we aren't fond of how close together the tables are, and how ridiculously huge some of the sandwiches are! (wish I knew how to post pics, I had the most delicious steak and cheese sub that I only ate maybe half of.) We do like the atmosphere, and we had a lovely view of the Castle out our window We had a nice lunch, and will probably eat there again on future trips.

Be Our Guest we did lunch, and had pre ordered, which is really the only way to do it without waiting in a crazy line to order. We enjoyed our meals (I had quiche, he had the roast beef) and they gave us a free cupcake, so have to love the pixie dust when you get it!! Yes, it's loud, but we sat in the Music Box room (oh gosh think that's what you call it anyway) and it was peaceful until it started getting busy. We do like that we can refill our drinks there before we leave.

We are thinking that if you haven't tried the Plaza before, you should try it. The price is about the same. See if you can get a table by a window, the people watching and view of the Castle is really nice.

So, how & when do we Pre-Order at BOG? I have a ressie for a day in March. Not sure how this works, as it wasn't even open when we were there last time.

Once you have a reservation at BOG for lunch, there will be a button you can click to pre order. It shows up about 27 days in advance.

DH and I love the Plaza, and can't wait to have lunch there again in October!! The strawberry chicken salad is one of my faves, and they have excellent milkshakes.

We love the Plaza as well and after trying it once 4 years ago - we go back every year.
