BOG Lunch Portion Sizes

Hello all!

I am coming up on the day I can pre-order my lunch at BOG.

For my two youngest, I will probably order just fries. My question is more for my husband, 11 year old and I. We are all pretty big eaters but I found some of the portion sizes the first time we went to Disney too big.

We all think the beef dip sandwich looks pretty awesome. Trying to figure out if we need to get two or 3 to feed the three of us.

For anyone who has had it, how robust is it? Is the beef piled up quite high or not so much. And how big would you say it is. Like a 6 inch Subway sub size or bigger? I hate wasting food so I won't get the 3rd if they are quite hearty.

You could get 3 and share the fries with the littles rather than ordering 2 sandwiches and 2 fries. Portion sizes are super hard to discuss on the internet because people have such vastly differing opinions... even in your own you claim you are a "big eater" but that portion sizes at WDW are big, that's conflicting because some big eaters find them just right or even small in some cases! But I think if you ordered the third sandwich you would probably not also have to order extra fries and it could be a good compromise.

Also I have never gone hungry for long at WDW, you could also get a snack later if anyone is still hungry.

Many of the QS restaurants at WDW have large portions but we didn't find BOG to be one of them... and we are not big eaters.

I'm not a big eater as in I get full fairly quickly and I would not share a sandwich at BOG.
Honestly I wouldn't share a sandwich at any QS location as to me the sandwiches are not "over sized".

Now if you were opting to get soups too and desserts then yeah its possible to share a couple of sandwiches.

But I'd do as a PP suggested and get 3 and then just share the fries with the little ones.

The sandwiches are about the 6 inch size, normal portion of meat, enough so you know it’s there but not so much you can’t fit it in your mouth.

I hadn't considered sharing the fries with the little ones.....I assumed since 5 of us were booked for the lunch that I would have to order 5 different things. If I don't need to then I will definitely not order the extra fries.

This may be from a couple of years ago. The sandwich now comes with au jus.

Thanks I had just wondered since the sandwich did change and my sister had it 3 weeks ago and this was not what it looked like.
