BOG Lunch Fastpass

Just wanted to let anyone know who is trying to get fast pass for lunch at BOG, just got one for July 31. I have been trying everyday for weeks! So excited!! Good luck!!

I want to get a BOG FP for my September trip.

Do I just go on the regular Site where I will book my other FP+ rides? I thought I read that I would get BOG on another site?

BOG lunch is through its own site and is not on the regular FP+ page and it does not count as one of your three selections. It is only in a test for guests of certain resorts at this time. If eligible you will receive an e-mail with the details. The window seems to open randomly.

I didn't get my e-mail until a couple of days after I booked mine either. It doesn't seem to come until a couple of days after you are eligible to book it.

I think they're bumping it back one day at a time. I'm hoping to change mine from our arrival day to 8/1, so I'll give it a shot tomorrow

I have to say ... this has been a dreadful wait. You are checking almost every day not knowing for sure if your date is not open yet or just no FPP is available at all. You also don't know if they would just suddenly change the rule and you might have been waiting/checking for nothing! The uncertainty is killing me!! But I will still be checking on a regular basis until I either get a FPP or leave for the trip. Pixie dust!!!

Honestly, we were fortunate enough that our travel agent got us an ADR for BOG. So it's not a high priority to get there for lunch.

If we get one for a better time than we have now, great.

If not, we'll see whether or not I cancel the one I booked last night.

Congratulations! // We spent a day last October in the MK -- rope drop to 3 and OMG all lines were short (20 minutes or less, even the mountains) with one exception BOG. To have lunch there we waited about 65 minutes. I wouldn't have done it, but DS really wanted to, and we enjoyed it. Having been once, though, I wouldn't do it again without a fastpass if lines are even 1/2 that long. // Probably the very best fastpass you could get for saving time in line in the MK.

Is it just cool to eat in the restaurant or something else? Why is lunch a big deal? There are no characters at lunch, correct... I'm going in September so have probably 3 weeks before can book... Lol

My family really enjoyed eating here last year. The inside of the castle is very impressive. We really love the west wing section with the rose. In fact they have no desire to go there for dinner, even if the beast is there. They prefer the lunch menu.

At lunch it is easier to get into the restaurant. BOG dinner ADRs book in the blink of an eye; at least with lunch, you have a fighting chance as it's a QS restaurant at lunchtime. You'll get to see the castle, which was interesting- nice theming. We waited in line about 40 minutes over a year ago to get in for lunch. I don't know if we'd bother going back; the restaurant rooms were pretty but we weren't all that impressed with the food, for the price. Maybe if we can get a FP we'll return in October, but only because DH wasn't with us last time and he might want to see the castle… or not.

Just a heads up; booked for July 31 a few minutes ago but the entire last week of July had availability.
