my picky niece is not going to eat much of anything on the kids menu except the cereal. The Disney website says "Kelloggs Cereal". Anyone know what the choices are? We have PPO ADR and are trying to decide if she should just eat in the room.

Thanks

She doesn't have to order a meal. That's a lot of money for something she may not eat. Feed her in the room and then let her eat off the pastry plate or get her a cupcake if she wants something else.

That's an interesting point - if you've booked her a seat does she have to choose a "meal" - or can you just take her along? My DGS has challenges including food and may not eat but I assumed we'd have to use one of his DP meals just to be seated?

She should eat in the room. $14 for Rice Krispies is ridiculous and I do not care if it is "free dining" it is still a waste of w credit and challenges good sense and reason.

Get her a cupcake and pay cash.

One of the big issues with BOG is it looks like a prix fixe but you can bring a party of 8, order a single coffee, and you will have fulfilled your ADR.

That's useful to know - I wouldn't abuse the booking but with his limited choices he might be happier sharing from others - if he liked something we could always then go buy him a portion. He gets fixated on certain foods - currently breakfast is either pain au chocolate or chocolate pancake - he may well have moved on to something else by the time he visits again.

thanks everyone, I will tell sis that she should eat at the resort; we are on the QSDP so could order her a meal at the Food Court. the rest of us will be eating a meal

going to have the same issue at our BOG lunch, she is very happy to eat chicken nuggets and pizza but not options at BOG.

Yes it's difficult when they have limited likes - sausages, strawberries, hot dogs, sweetcorn at least he's eating something.

My thoughts exactly. My daughter would love to have that $14 cereal for breakfast. Not happening.

There is also nothing stopping you from bringing in a thing of Rice Krispies from the resort (or home) and ordering her some milk at BOG, if she wants to eat with the family (and/or if they don't have time to eat at the resort). We have packed in our son's lunch to BOG on several occaisions beause he was not happy with the choices there.

that's a good idea, we are going to order things like apple sauce, yogurt for the room; just as easy to bring it with us and order her milk. thanks!

On a related note...
I looked at the BOG breakfast menu and nothing on the kid's menu would appeal to my 6 year old. However, I know she would love the Croissant Doughnut on the adult menu. Since it's a quick serve meal (and all dining plan quick serve credits are pooled), will I be able to order that for her using the dining plan?

Really - I wouldn't have considered that - thank you!

I don't remember the size of the fridge at POFQ - will have to check!

As a newbie to the QSDP how does that pooling work please?
What it means is, basically, there is only one type of QS credit and they are not differentiated as Adult and Child.

So you can buy an Adult QS meal with a credit acquired by buying DDP for a child.

we were at POFQ in 2013, had 2 rooms and managed to squeeze a gallon of milk in each frig plus Go Gurt. not a ton of room for water but put 5-6 in each one at night for the next day.
