BOG FP - New email/account for subsequent trips?

A question for those of you who have gotten BOG Lunch FPs on multiple trips. Did the BOG FP website allow you to make a FP reservation on your 2nd and later trips using the account you initially set up on that website for your 1st trip using BOG FP? I know you had to use an email account and "link"/input the resort confirmation number for your first trip in order to use the site initially, but is that account then no longer useable for future trips because it is forever tied to that old resort reservation number? Or is that site "smart" enough to find your new upcoming trip assuming the email address used originally is the same one that you use for your MDE account? So essentially, do you NEED to create a NEW account using a NEW email address so you can link it to the NEW resort confirmation number for an upcoming trip in order to have the dates of you new stay be available for BOG FP reservation making once those trip dates are "opened for reservations" in the system?

So please list what you did on your 2nd and later trips - if you used the old account or had to set up a new email account for each trip in order to use the BOG Lunch FP system successfully. Thanks!

We made our original fast pass+ reservation in February, followed by Fast pass+ in May, and again in October. We never had to change our e-mail address or password.
So yes, the system is smart enough to figure it all out. I assume it recognized our three different reservations and recognized three different reservation numbers.

I think it can vary and some folks have better luck than others. We had no problem back in 2013 with our initial BOG lunch FP. When we tried to book for our 2014 trip, the system wouldn't reset and was still somehow tied to our original 2013 reservation. We had no way to input our new reservation info. I had to set-up a new account to input the 2014 reservation, and then everything worked fine.

Now we just made a new reservation for 2015, and so far both accounts (NEW and OLD) are not resetting, so it looks like I may need to set a THIRD account next year in in order to input the new reservation info.

I don't know why some folks BOG accounts updated for new reservations, while others don't. But, if you log in after you've set up for a 2nd trip and the system is only showing the next 7 days or so instead of your actual vacation dates, you may need to set up an additional account.

I had to make a new account using DH email to secure Be Our Guest for this trip. They sent the email invite to my email and use the reservation number in that one to make my reservation.

There does not seem to be any rhyme or reason to how it all works. :confused3

I was able to secure BOG FPs in 2013. But in 2014, no such luck. My account, as well as the accounts of those in my travel party, are all tied to the 2013 ressie number, and cannot be updated. I created new accounts with the 2014 ressie numbers to get around the lock-up, but even that didn't work. The BOG site is still only letting me book 6 days out, even with a new account tied to a stay that's currently in a bookable window. Boo. :(

The only thing I can think is perhaps to try *another* new account, this time perhaps tied to one of my children, instead of to me? I was the ressie holder for both years, but maybe if I switch the entire thing into someone else's name, it might have a shot at working? Thoughts?

This is exactly what I'm dealing with! So frustrating! :headache: It doesn't matter how many new emails/names I use- it still only shows 7 days out.
Not sure what else to do.

I'ved used it 5-6 times and I've never gotten before 7 days out. Even with an email it only went the next 7 days. That said I've always gotten a FP 7 days out and one week I changed it twice while I was there.

It seems that the new person and new email has to be on your reservation or that's how it worked for me.

Great- thanks! Hopefully I'll be able to do the same. ::yes::

Is there a number I can call regarding this problem? I tried using a different email and it sill isn't working for me. Even if I set up a new account, I think the system is still recognizing my name and birth date. Help!!!!

Unfortunately, no. Other DISers have posted that there isn't any support for this site- which really stinks! :furious: You'd think by now there would be.

I got the BOG e-mail invite with the reservation number for my Dec. 4-13 trip. Unfortunately, I was offered a reservation between Nov. 22-28 for two people when there are three of us in my party. I agree there is no rhyme nor reason for how this works. It's very frustrating.

Same boat here! I was able to secure a ressie with a new account though. Very frustrating none the less!pixiedust:

We've gotten them in Oct and now again for Dec. with the same email.

I got to my 7-day window today, and was so excited to log on and finally make my belated BOG ressies. Unfortunately, that's a no-go. While the site is finally showing my dates, it is also showing there's no availability whatsoever, for the week beginning 12/2. From what I've read on the boards, I doubt there really is nothing. I think there's just nothing for me, just as there was nothing for me at day 27, due to my reservation from 2013. :( Disney really needs to fix this system.
